Sandia Park, NM - July 5, 2005
A&M Bio-Filter, LP, manufacturer and distributor of OdorHog
TM
, carbon activated vent pipe filters,
is pleased to announce two new distributors. A&M Bio-Filter, LP is especially delighted to announce that our
two new distributors are plumbing supply houses.
Falls Plumbing Supply in Idaho Falls, Idaho and Albuquerque Winnelson Company, New Mexico.
Falls Plumbing Supply decided to carry the OdorHog
TM
product line after several requests from local plumbers.
Tony, with Falls Plumbing Supply said, "We have had several plumbers requesting a solution for vent pipe odors.
After some research, we were glad to find a solution for our clients."
Tony added, "We are glad to add vent pipe filters to our other plumbing product lines."
Winnelson of Albuquerque invited A&M Bio-Filter, LP to participate in their annual Customer Appreciation Day and Trade Show.
At the show A&M Bio-Filter, LP generated a great deal of interest in the OdorHog
TM
. After the show, Winnelson started to take
orders from their plumbing clients for the vent pipe filters. "There seems to be a market in this area for vent pipe filters." Greg Hoffman, President, stated.
Greg added, "Several of the local plumbing contractors have told me they see a need for this product. The contractors explain that the odors are not being
carried away by winds and need to absorbed some how."
"With the addition of these two supply houses to our family of distributors, we are better able to serve the plumbing community." Aaron Appel, member of A&M Bio-Filter, LP states.
The OdorHog
TM
from A&M Bio-Filter, LP is a carbon-activated filter that absorbs and eliminates septic or sewer gases as they exit the plumbing vent system on houses
or septic tank and leach field risers. On single-family homes, the carbons last three to five years before needing replacement. Installation is easy and requires no glue:
simply slip the filter over the vent pipe. The filter comes in 1.5-, 2-, 3-, and 4-inch sizes in white schedule 40 PVC or black ABS. A no-hub clamp attaches the filter to
cast iron or other nonstandard pipes. Larger or smaller filters are available by special order. A solar-powered fan turns the OdorHog
into the PowerhogTM
by drawing gases from the septic or sewer system through the carbons to be absorbed during the day
"OdorHogTM
" is a registered trademark of A&M Bio-Filter, LP.
