New for 2011! What is a RoadHog?
Introducing the RoadHog Odor Absorbing Manhole Insert. The RoadHog is a specially designed Manhole insert with the addition of a canister containing 20 pounds of commercial grade activated carbon. The carbon traps the unpleasant hydrogen sulfide (rotten egg) odors. Purified air is then allowed to ventilate through the canister lid.

Road Hog Odor Absorbing Inserts are manufactured from ultra high density, high molecular weight polyethylene meeting the requirements of ASTM D-1248 Class A, Category 5 with a thickness of 1/8”
RoadHog Installation
All RoadHog brand Odor Absorbing Manhole Inserts are made to order. If your manhole has a casting number, please include this number as this is the best way for us to provide a proper fitting insert.

- Every plumbing vent on the roof must have a filter in order to eliminate the septic odor. Gas will seek the path of least resistance and exit through un-filtered vents.
- Our roof vent filters will not cure indoor plumbing odors. If you are experiencing an indoor odor, please refer to our Frequently Asked Questions page for possible solutions.
